Giovedi, Aprile 7th

Last week of Italian for three weeks, school holidays then a public holiday.
We had a test which showed me I MUST learn the verbs that aren't all about me!  I had only learned the ones that related to me (of course!).

In English, we say - I can, you can, she can, he can, we can, they can.  It Italian for the word 'can' they say - posso, puoi, puo, possiamo, potete, possono.  We use one word, they use 5.  And that's just one verb!  Thank goodness I have the scuola vacanza (school holidays) to make some more flash cards ...

However, I must give myself a pat on the back.  If I ever need to say "The grandfather is in the car with the mother and father, and the grandmother is at the table with the boy, the chicken and the tomato" - I'm  laughin'!!!

Anyone want a panini con tunno e pomodoro (bread roll with tuna and tomato)?
