Planning is still going well, things have slowed down a little even though there is only 52 days until I leave!! I think that's because I am such a control freak and needed things organised so I knew in my mind that all will be well. I think travelling on my own is making me want to be organised and know everything is sorted. Now starting to think about 'what ifs' - what if the airline lose my luggage, what if there is a train strike (apparently there are a lot in Italy) and I dont get to my next accommodation point etc etc. And then I remind myself, 'what if' those 'disasters' dont happen and it all goes swimmingly!
Still loving my Italian lessons, it is school holidays at the moment so we've had a break, but I did an "Intensive Italian Day" a couple of weekends ago when I was slightly overwhelmed with all of the Italian words that were being spoken in the room, and ended up being brain dead after five hours of it, and a ripper of a headache the next day. Still, every little bit has got to help!
A few minor glitches like a babysitter deciding he wouldn't be able to be the best babysitter in the world that he had told me he would be, an extra stop over on my way to Rome, but what's an adventure without a glitch!
