Rome again - day 2

Rome is much better the 2nd time around!
I walked to the train station and caught the metro train to the colosseum. I had no idea how to buy a ticket or where to go, again I just followed the crowd and did as the Romans did!
I walked out of the station at the Coloseo stop and there in front of me was the Colosseum. I hadn't thought to buy my ticket before going but the queue to get in wasn't that bad, maybe ten minutes. The Colosseum isn't as big as I thought it would be, but all the bits laying around and people sitting on them - I didn't get that at all!

After walking around the Colosseum for an hourish I then wandered around
Arco di Tito and Plantino then on to Trevi again checking out the view on the way, had lunch with my new friend Padre Jose, and then revisted the Pantheon, wandered around and got lost for a while, Paulo helped me though and wanted to drive me to the post office - thanks Paulo but I will walk!
old stuff laying around

Walked past this today

the skyline as I walked to the Trevi Fountain from the Colosseum
I walked to the post office, sat for 1.5 hour waiting for my number to be called so I could buy a box, went to Maccas and walked back to my room through the markets and ate Maccas on my bed as I watched Grande Frantello (Italian Big Brother) and about to watch Advanti Un Altro = my poor feet and head are throbbing!!! Tomorrow Vatican City!
