Booked to return to Bella Italia

It's almost two years since I came home from Italy, where I had both the best time ever, and a couple of not so best times ever, but with the good comes the not so good, just so we can really appreciate the fabulous! The past couple of years have been filled with dreaming of getting back to bella Italia and frustrating Italian lessons, I still want to be fluent yesterday. I will keep plodding along because I want to be able to have some sort of conversation apart from per favore and grazie when I return. Speaking of returning, I have finally booked my ticket (and paid for so I HAVE to go)and, absolutely coincidentally I leave Australia exactly three years to the date that I left last time, this time for six weeks so I am returning two weeks earlier than last time, I r e a l l y wish it was for three months but will be very happy with six weeks. Six weeks of travelling around the north of the country, this time staying in convents and monasteries where possible and B & Bs when it's not possible. This time I know what I want to bring back so can start planning now for what I want, and starting to try to work out where I want to go. My map is on the wall and partly marked. Last night I checked out transport between towns and villages, mostly train, sometimes also bus, mostly about an hourish travel, sometimes 5 hoursish, which freaked me a bit until I remembered I will be on a train, looking out the window at the bella countryside and towns, relaxed because what does time matter, and maybe having a chat with someone else who is hopefully, Italian. In the meantime, I have no idea how I am going to get the soldi ($) together, getting enough work to both get me through the next 18 or so months, as well as getting enough to take away with me. Things work out, don't know how, but they do so I will keep working towards my goal and put it out to the universe also, keep my fingers crossed and see what happens. Stay tuned ...
