Como and Argegno 19 Settembre 2014

I'm tired today, not sure if it is a result of maybe a bottle too much wine last night, whether it was the noisy neighbours that had me standing on my bed and half past ridiculous banging the ceiling with a wooden coat hanger to get them to shut up, or a combination of both...
I went to the post office this morning and after about half an hour of me trying to understand the woman and her trying to understand me, I think I have a parcel on its way home.  Should make packing for Bergamo and Venice a bit easier without so much crappola.  I'd like to try to get away with not having to send anything else home, it's an expense I would rather do without if I can.  I guess it will depend on what I buy in Venice.  Then I got my broken nail fixed, (broke it in Rome, had it patched up there, but the patch-up wasnt good enough, and I have a feeling I'm going to need another patch-up job before I go home) I found some woman in some building that does nails but she couldn't do it til Monday until I told her where I was staying then she did it on the spot and didn't charge me.  Handy.
Then I got on the ferry to Argegno, the village with the cable cars up the mountain, but there had been low clouds all morning and by the time the ferry pulled in to Argegno I couldn't see two feet in front of me the rain was so heavy, and because there was also lightning and some thunder the cable cars werent running!  (It snowed in Florence today, I don't think I'm going to get away with sandles and short sleeves for the rest of this trip somehow!)  So, I sat and had an apple pizza that was double yum, then about 20 minutes before the next ferry back to Como the rain eased up a bit so I went up the steps to the back of the shops, checked out a few little old places then it was time for the ferry back again!  It absolutely teemed with rain the whole way back to Como, it was too heavy to go wandering the streets so I came back to my room, as soon as I got back here the rain has stopped.  It's not really cold, just wet.  Not sure what the weather is going to do tomorrow, but I know what I am doing.  I'm going to get up, go for breakfast, take my bags with me, get a taxi to the station and get the train to Bergamo for the weekend.
I found how to take panoramic shots with my camera yesterday, look out facebook!
Early night for this little black duck tonight, not going to see the nonna, will save it for Bergamo tomorrow night and hopefully find a nonna there
Buona notte a tutti
